Apollo Technology (“the Extension,” “we,” “us”) is an independently developed browser extension that helps users filter, review, organize and export information made available on Instagram pages accessible to them. This Privacy Policy describes the categories of information involved in the Extension’s operation, the purposes for which that information is processed, and the choices available to users.
2. Information Processed
Depending on the Instagram page, available information and the features you choose to use, the Extension may access or process:
- Account information visible on the pages you access, such as usernames, profile names, profile links, account descriptions, verification status and publicly displayed account metrics.
- Follower or following list information displayed to your browser, and filter criteria such as geographic references, account metrics and other supported account attributes.
- Settings and preferences that you enter into the Extension to perform filtering and export operations.
- Information you choose to export into a file on your device.
Not all attributes are available for every account. The Extension does not require you to provide your Instagram password directly to Apollo Technology.
3. Purposes of Processing
The Extension processes information to provide user-requested functionality, including displaying and filtering account information, applying selected criteria, organizing results, and preparing data exports. Processing is limited to functions presented in the Extension and initiated or configured by the user.
4. Browser Permissions
The Extension may request access to Instagram pages and browser capabilities needed for its features. Such access can be used to read information displayed on supported pages, store extension settings and initiate user-requested downloads. Chrome displays the permissions requested by the installed version of the Extension. The Extension is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Instagram or Meta.
5. Storage, Exports and Retention
When you use an export feature, the resulting file is downloaded to a location controlled by your browser or operating system. You are responsible for how you store, retain, share or delete files that you export. Settings or temporary processing data may be stored using browser storage and can generally be removed by clearing extension data or uninstalling the Extension, subject to browser behavior.
Information you view or export may also be subject to Instagram’s own policies. This page does not govern Instagram’s processing or information you independently share with other services.
6. Data Sharing and Commercial Use
Apollo Technology does not sell Instagram account data to data brokers or advertisers. Information processed through the Extension is intended to support the functionality requested by the user, not to create advertising profiles. Any optional external service or account synchronization feature, if made available in a future version, must be accompanied by appropriate disclosure and an update to this Policy before use.
7. Security
We seek to limit access to information to what is reasonably necessary for the Extension’s functions. No browser extension or computing environment can be guaranteed entirely secure. Users should protect their browser sessions, exported files and devices, and should use the Extension only where they have an appropriate right to access and process the information involved.

- You can stop using the Extension or remove it through Chrome’s extension management interface.
- You can delete exported files from your device and clear extension-related browser data through your browser settings.

9. Children's Privacy
